UPDATE AGAIN: Whether they’re born yet or not, we officially propose the nickname IslAmelie for the twins. That name fits right in with this clan!

America’s most multi-cultural family, the Jolie-Pitts, have officially welcomed numbers 5 and 6 to their brood! Twins Isla Marcheline (named for Angelina’s mother) and Amelie Jane (named for Brad’s mother) were born in France, and everyone is doing well. They joined their big brothers Maddox (6) and Pax (4), and their big sisters Zahara (3) and Shiloh (2).

Brad and Angie consider it important to educate the kids about their cultural roots, so expect the twins to be bilingual in English and French from the get-go. We’ve decided the uuber-attractive family needs one more to round out the family, so we can officially refer to them as ”7th Heaven: Hollywood Edition”. Hopefully a boy will be next, so Brad, Maddox, and Pax won’t be too out-numbered!

Ashlee Simpson and new husband Pete Wentz have gone on the record about their baby bump…they’re for sure expecting a bundle of joy! Word is that Papa Joe insisted on a shotgun wedding, and we’re not surprised. Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson is said to be heartbroken over the success of her little sister. She’s been talking quite a bit about marrying beau Tony Romo, and making some babies with him – but it seems that Tony found it all a bit too much, too soon. Maybe Jess should pay extra attention to the upcoming film He’s Just Not That Into You.

We don’t have a great baby bump pic yet, but she’s a tiny little thing, so we’re sure to see a tummy soon! Hollywood is all about being pregnant these days…check out some other celebs who are just about ready to pop:

In much more surprising baby drama news, former American Idol runner up Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy soon. The mommy-to-be is his 50 year old producer/BFF, Jaymes Foster. This does nothing to clear up rumors of Clay preferring the company of gentleman, though, because the pregnancy is reported to be due to artificial insemination. No matter how the baby was made, he or she is sure to have an incredible voice!

Is there a major faux pas in the Sex and the City movie? No, not a fashion faux pas – something worse! (And no, we’re not talking about that crazy hippie outfit that Charlotte is sporting. But seriously, what is up with that?) What could possibly be worse than a last season bag or broken heel? Supposedly there are visible boom mics scattered throughout the movie! Victoria Beckham’s new fashion doll-esque Marc Jacobs ads are just…creepy.

We love “Gylenspoon”, we find “Brangelina” just as appealing, and even the infamous “Bennifer” moniker was alright. But TV’s least favorite couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, nearly made us lose our lunch with their nickname: “Speidi”. Not so bad, you say? Wrong! They have a website where they post all of their uuber-posed “candid shots” and they named it SpeidiWeb. Take the image below, for example. Casual walk on the beach? We doubt it! No further comments…

John Mayer has cropped his mop top – is he cleaning up for new girlfriend Jennifer Aniston? Given his reputation with the ladies, we hope Jen is staying on her toes!

Celebrity engagement ring alert! A little bird tells us that Indy star Harrison Ford, and Brothers and Sisters star Calista Flockhart are engaged to be married, as of April! Our congrats to the happy couple, who seem to have one of those rare real connections. Check back for our version of the engagement ring, as soon as pics are available.

Speaking of engagement rings, has anyone seen the Jay Z/Beyonce ring yet? Is this it?

Attention ladies, gather round…the eternal bachelor, George Clooney, is once again up for grabs! Our hearts go out to his ex, Sarah Larson, who lasted longer than any woman in his life recently (besides his pot belly pig!). That being said, this opens the door for us to pretend George is really just waiting for us. He’s officially one of the sexiest men in Hollywood, so hey – a girl can dream, right?

It’s been a loooong wait, but we’ve just about made it! Sex and the City: The Movie premiered in THE city, New York, which inspired it all. The stars were looking much more glam, and much less…ahem…garish than they did for the London and Berlin premieres – no crazy hats or tapestry dresses! Everyone gathered outside of New York’s Radio City Music Hall, and Swarovski provided over 10,000 crystals to adorn the pink carpet. Yes, that’s right – a pink carpet that was positively coated in bling. If only we could have been there! Team Emitations would have fit right in with that decor…

Leading lady Sarah Jessica Parker wore a shimmering, strapless Nina Ricci gown, complete with jewelry accessories by Fred Leighton. The heart shaped bodice gave it a ballerina feel, but the flowing train reminded us of a futuristic, fashion forward wedding gown. She was completely Carrie, from head to toe!

Kristin Davis complemented her perfectly, with her golden accordian pleated Donna Karen dress. The ruching at the hemline and off the shoulder neckline were just the right mix of class and sass, just like Charlotte! She was also dripping in 19th Century diamonds, which added to her glamorous look.

Kim Cattrall was consumate Samantha, with a (sorta?) strapless Vivienne Westwood gown in a metallic slate hue. It had lace paneling up the sides, which extended above the bodice. It almost looked like the dress had straps that were just tucked inside? This is a couture cocktail dress, though, so we’re assuming it was intentional. Her ball drop diamond earrings looked perfect against the beading and ruching of the dress!

It looks like Cynthia Nixon was the only one sans shimmering metal shades, except for her purse. Cynthia rocked a flowing, grecian style gown with layers of frothy white fabric. The Narciso Rodriguez was accented by a metallic gold box clutch, and chic dangle drop earrings. How very Miranda of her!

Sexy newbie Jennifer Hudson, aka Carrie’s assistant Louise,  also got in the glam, wearing an olive-gold metallic dress by Peter Soronen. The bustier style top showed off her assets in a high fashion way, which isn’t an easy feat for many couture designs! The short sleeves and knee length hemline kept it from being too risque, and the look was tied together with Hudson‘s cuff bracelet, sleek hair, and black clutch purse.
