The National Enquirerprint edition says that Ryan Phillippe (ex-husband of Reese Witherspoon) and girlfriend Abbie Cornish are engaged to be married! The two met on the set of the film Stop Loss, and Ryan and Reese separated shortly thereafter. Public opinion did not hold the new couple in favor, and the break-up of Hollywood’s golden couple was blamed on Ryan’s infidelity. Since then, Reese has gotten ultra-close with Jake Gylenhall, and Ryan has been quietly dating Abbie. Are wedding bells in the future for both pairs?

Supposedly, Ryan has already proposed to Abbie, but he wants to keep it hush hush:

“Abbie’s been very understanding and has played along with Ryan’s secrecy for nearly two years, but now she’s lost her patience and it’s causing a lot of tension and arguing,” said the pal.

Ryan is pleading with Abbie to give him more time.

Talk of a sequel to Sex and the City: The Movie has been going on for a while now. The movie was such a huge box office success, it’s only natural that a second one could be in the works. Since then, the infamous Brit Brit has cleaned herself up (literally), kicked some bad influences to the curb, and become a more reliable mother to her two little boys. A Los Angeles judge ruled, however, that Jamie needs to keep the reigns a bit longer. He has control until 2009, and we think that will work out well for Britney. She can take these next few months to finish work on her newest album!

Salma Hayeck took her 10 month old daughter, Valentina Paloma, out shopping in Beverly Hills recently. Look at that adorable face! We especially love the pink bow in her hair. Salma has been busy recently, visiting family, ending a relationship, and working the new animated film Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Maybe mom and daughter were doing research for her role?

Famous couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been in the media quite a bit recently. A wave of break-up rumors hit the internet last month, but since then things have been looking up.
