Jamie Foxx: Faux Rocks!

Monday, January 26th, 2009

According to the World Entertainment News Network, actor Jamie Foxx is taking a stand against the use of blood diamonds for jewelry:

“Jamie Foxx has ditched his trademark diamond earrings to protest the use of conflict gems in jewelry.

The actor/singer famously wears big stones in each of his ears, but he insists he has now ditched real diamonds after he was educated about the history of jewels mined in warzones and sold to fund conflicts or profit warlords.

Foxx reveals, ‘I now wear cubic zirconia. I used to wear real diamonds, but there’s too much issue about blood diamonds.’ ”

If you want to rock your own pair of cubic zirconia stud earrings, just like Jamie Foxx, look no further! Emitations.com is your one stop shop for all the fake diamond earrings a guy or girl could want. Check out these CZ studs for inspiration…

Celebs Love Faux Jewelry!

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

We all know that celebrities love their diamonds – but did you know that they also enjoy fake jewelry? Stars love to wear rhinestones and CZs, especially when they’re out on the town. Why risk losing or damaging jewelry that costs thousands of dollars, when you can rock an affordable alternative? The best part is that no one has to know! When you buy quality imitation jewelry, like the items you find on Emitations.com, the fact that it’s faux is our little secret…

Coco Chanel was one of the first to outfit celebrities in rhinestones and CZs, but the trend didn’t stop with her. Recently, big name jewelry owners like Paris Hilton have gone on record about sporting fake engagement rings. The 12-29-08 issue of Star magazine noted that one of the most well known celebrity couples – Beyonce and Jay-Z – also opted for faux bling:

“Once wasn’t enough for Jay-Z. He put a ring on Beyonce twice! The singer received two engagement baubles from her hubby: a $5 million 18-carat diamond ring, and a $5,000 cubic zirconia copy! ‘Even though Beyonce’s real engagement ring is insured, she doesn’t always feel comfortable wearing such a valuable stone,’ an insider says. She rocks out on stage with the fake, while the real rock is locked away in a vault!”

Emitations has a faux version of Beyonce’s engagement ring, but it won’t cost you $5,000. Our version goes for just $150! Young Hollywood is also in on the fake bling game – rising star Demi Lovato was just interviewed by Seventeen magazine about her jewelry preferences:

“I’m a huge accessories person. I love chunky jewelry. Like lots of rhinestones, I grew up in pageants so anything glitzy is fine by me.”

You don’t have to be a celeb to enjoy fake jewelry. In fact, this is one trend that the stars are stealing from us! Emitations.com has CZ rings, rhinestone necklaces, and even a pink simulated diamond ring. No matter what type of costume jewelry you crave, Emitations has it here for you.
