Celebrity power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have created a line of serpent themed fine jewelry and accessories for Asprey. The collection is called “The Protector”, and is said to be inspired by a snake ring that Angelina received while pregnant with their daughter Shiloh. Ever since then, Jolie has considered snakes and reptiles to be talismans of protection and good luck for their family.
The connection to Shiloh is evident in whimsical pieces like a sterling silver snake baby spoon. There are also unique items like a silver goblet with a snake motif, and a round jewelry box topped with a curved snake. If you prefer snake jewelry – like that worn by Angelina Jolie! – check out the chic snake cuff bracelets, knotted snake necklaces, and looped snake rings. These beautiful accessories are made from sterling silver or gold with pave accents, and the styles range from simple to ornate. Some of the rings, for example, are plain bands with small snake figures at the top. The more intricate bracelets feature stripes of gems that form two intertwined snakes.
Emitations has been selling snake jewelry for years, and shoppers love our snake rings, snake bracelets, snake necklaces, and snake earrings. We didn’t specifically design anything to be a reproduction of Brad and Angelina’s line of snake jewelry, but we do have some similar items. Our snake cuff bracelets in particular are a close match – but we’ve offered them for months, before we even spotted this collection! Angelina Jolie co-founded this organization a few years ago, and it’s certainly a worthwhile organization to help out. Donated and earned funds for the organization go to children of Darfur, Iraq, Haiti, and Katrina – providing essentials like food, clothing, sanitary items, and school supplies.
