Hollywood’s least trustworthy mother, Lynne Spears, is set to release her book this September. It was originally planned as a “parenting guide”, but had to be changed up after the you-know-what hit the fan for daughters Jamie Lynn and Britney Spears. Star magazine reports:

“According to the publisher Thomas Nelson — a publisher of inspirational books and Bibles — the book will take readers ‘beyond the reach of the paparazzi and outside the narrow orbit of the Hollywood glitterati to share the inside story of the Spears family-as only a mother can tell it.’

Topics she discusses include:

- Her regret in abdicating parental authority to managers, agents and record companies
- Her response to Jamie Lynn’s teen pregnancy
- The startling events that led to Britney’s meltdown and Lynne’s showdown with manager Sam Lufti”

Seems to us that this is just another way for Mama Spears to cash in on the pain and suffering that her daughters have gone through. Way to parent!

Our favorite celebutante, Paris Hilton, has come up with a brilliant new idea. She wants to gather Hollywood’s most notorious celebs for one trash talking, attention hungry, life exploiting disaster of a reality show. If Paris had her way, she would be joined by such infamous peers as Nicole Richie, Britney Spears, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Lindsay Lohan.

Supposedly, she was inspired by the new reality show “hits”, Living Lohan (Dina Lohan’s show) and It’s Complicated (Denise Richard’s show). We make fun of Paris pretty regularly, but we have to admit, she’s found her niche in the celebrity world. Word is this new idea of hers has already caught the eye of Bravo and Lifetime…

Would you watch it? We sure would! We propose the name “Paparazzi Princesses”!

JJsDirt had an exclusive interview last week with Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph, and some interesting details were revealed! Here’s the scoop, straight from JJsDirt:

“JJ: How is Britney?
LR: Great.

JJ: Is she happy with her new custody order?
LR: Yes. She loves her kids. She will be with them on Saturday and then again on Monday.

JJ: So she won’t be appearing in Las Vegas Friday to support Christian Audigier and his new club opening?
LR: No. Visitation can not be changed. I mean she would lose her children if we tried to.

JJ: What would it take to book Britney for an appearance these days?
LR: It is nearly impossible. There would have to be private jets, an entourage of security guards, child services, 5-star accomodations for all, and an appearance fee no less than $400k.

JJ: So she wouldn’t do an appearance if I were to set up an event during Miami Fashion Week where she would get $20k for appearing and $10k to one of her foundations?
LR: Absolutely not. She would not appear for any less than $400k, even if you donated over $10k to her organization. It is a HUGE production to have Britney Spears appear any where. Besides, if she isn’t spending time with her boys, she is recording for her new album.

JJ: Well, thank you!
LR: Thank you.”

Britney has her boys back! After lots of time to get herself situated, Britney has been granted overnight visitation rights with sons Jayden James and Sean Preston. Despite the craziness, it was always very evident that Brit loved those little guys, so we’re happy for her. Just be sure to use car seats and avoid having them fetch cigarettes for mommy…

“The National Enquirer (take it for what it’s worth) reports that doctors are preparing Jamie Lynn Spears for a C-section tomorrow, Thursday, due to complications in the pregnancy. An ultrasound supposedly revealed that the younger Spears’ baby may be in breech position. Jamie Lynn and baby daddy Casey reportedly plan to name their baby girl a combination of both their names – Cailynn or Cassie.”

Britney Spears was spotted taking a commercial flight from Los Angeles to Louisiana this morning. She had previously said that she would head back home once her little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, was ready to give birth. Does this mean that Jamie Lynn is officially in labor? Prior speculations estimated her due date as being June 29th, and she is supposedly expecting a baby girl. Britney’s boys might be meeting their new cousin any time now!

Yes, you read that right! The infamous Britney Spears has supposedly landed an Emmy nod, for her guest role on the hit CBS show How I Met Your Mother. We will concede that she had a few funny moments, but for the most part, Britney’s acting was akward and not exactly award show material. We doubt she could actually win, though, considering who she is pitted against:

The official ballots won’t be out until next month, so for now this is a tentative list. Hollywood has been buzzing recently with rumors of meddling fathers!

First we heard about Papa Joe Simpson, who has clearly been all up in daughter Jessica’s love life since the Nick Lachey days. Supposedly, new beau Tony Romo laid down the law for Jess – if they got back together, dad had to butt out! Joe makes no apologies for his heavy handed managerial style, saying that as a father he is only working in his daughter’s best interests. Umm, hey, Mr. S…acting as a media pimp doesn’t really count as “best interests”!

Tony and Jessica are still on shaky grounds, and Joe isn’t helping. Word is that he’s now pushing Tony to ditch his current manager, and appoint Joe in charge instead. Let’s hope Tony Romo mans up off the field as well as on, and holds firm with the wannabe dad-ager.

Next came reports of Britney’s dad – and savior – Jamie Spears. After pulling his daughter back from the brink, Jamie is now rumored to be taking the control a bit too far. The magazines are saying that Jamie has been buttering Kevin up with golf trips, expensive watches, and the promise of a generous multi-million dollar account…contingent on him getting back together with ex-wife Britney Spears.

Supposedly the 5 mil isn’t enough, though, and K-Fed is holding out for more cash! Personally we hope they get back together, if only because Brit didn’t start flashing her naughty bits and acting loco until after Kevin was gone.
