Push Present

If you’re looking for push gift ideas then you’ve come to the right place! If you’re unfamiliar with push presents or new to the whole push present phenom, that’s okay, we’ll explain. A push present is a gift that is given to a mom to be before or after the baby’s birth, and is given by loved ones. The new trend has been made more popular by celebrities like Rachel Zoe and Mariah Carey, who both received expensive jewelry as push gifts from their husbands. If you or someone you know is expecting, what better way to gift then with a push jewelry present!

Push ring jewelry is great to give because it adds more sentimental value to a gift. A unique way to give the gift of a ring is to present a colored ring band, but not any color—the baby’s birthstone color! We absolutely love this idea, which is why we’re spreading the word. So, if you’re looking for a different push gift to give someone, try a birthstone colored ring band.

The collection of eternity bands in different colors was created in response to customer requests! The thin band is accented with small prong set CZ stones that extend all the way around the ring. Rachel Zoe’s Push Present: Diamond Ring

Monday, May 16th, 2011

There’s no doubt that having a baby is a task worthy of a reward. If a kiss or nice bouquet of flowers won’t do, most mothers accept their new bundle of joy as their gift. But nowadays, many husbands are expected to buy expensive presents to thank their wives for dealing with pregnancy and “pushing” through labor.

These “push presents” are the latest gift-giving occasion, and just one more for men to add to their list — along with Valentine’s Day, birthdays, holidays and the all-important anniversary. Typically, these push presents arrive in the form of jewelry, and are very popular among celebrities.

So when it comes time for a push present for celeb stylist, reality star, and new mommy Rachel Zoe, what do you get the girl who has everything? After the couple welcomed their first son, Skyler Morrison Bermann in March 2011, the proud papa marked the occasion by giving his wife a huge piece of bling.  Rachel’s hubby Rodger Bermann went big in the form of a 10 carat cushion-cut Neil Lane diamond ring.

“Rodger wanted to surprise Rachel with something romantic – and huge,” the jeweler told People magazine. “It was her first baby and she’s been working so hard that Rodger wanted to do something very special.” The ten carat stunner features a diamond covered split band on either side of the center stone, giving the ring tons of sparkle.

Zoe, a self-proclaimed accessories addict, has a vast collection of vintage and modern jewels. So what did Rachel think of her new extravagant diamond gift? According to Lane, the new mom was “thrilled and hasn’t taken it off since!”

Adorable baby Skyler weighed in at 6 pounds 12 ounces, which means the push present came out to more than a carat a pound!  Surely Rachel loves her new bauble almost as much as her bundle of joy. After all, any fashionista knows that a ten carat diamond is the perfect accessory to wear while changing a poopy diaper…

Rachel Zoe is a Zero

Friday, August 15th, 2008

Celebitchy recently blogged about Rachel Zoe, stylist to the stars:

Rachel Zoe

Stylist Rachel Zoe has often been cited as the reason so many starlets have become so stick thin in the last few years – and accusation she wholeheartedly denies. Though for her recent cover of Harper’s Bazaar they had to Photoshop her from a size 0 to a size 8. And she admits eating isn’t exactly on the top – or the bottom – of her to do list.

Rachel Zoe admits eating doesn’t always make her daily agenda. “I’m a textbook definition of that perfectionist girl who has huge expectations of herself,” she says in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “It’s hard for me to take care of myself, let’s put it that way. I am my last priority.”

When she’s working on her own, she says it’ll sometimes be 7 p.m. and she’s only “had coffee and a grapefruit” all day. Zoe, 37 — who was retouched from a size 0 to a size 8 for the magazine — says “it’s not that I don’t eat. I eat.” She just doesn’t always have the time. Asked if she eats lunch, she replied: “Truth? I don’t. I’m not a lady who lunches; it’s a lull in the day.”

She says she doesn’t get why she was to blame for celebs being too skinny. “We’ve had Audrey Hepburn, we’ve had Twiggy, we’ve had Veruschka, we’ve had Kate Moss,” she says. “I’m trying to figure out why I am to blame for skinniness… Truthfully, I’ve never seen myself as being too thin,” she adds. “Sometimes I’ll look at photos and be like, ‘Oh, that’s not a good look.’ But generally speaking, I’m not too thin.”

Rachel Zoe Lindsay Lohan Nicky Hilton Nicole Richie

Look at this picture of her with some of Hollywood’s celebutantes – the combined weight of those women must be about 100 pounds, max! That’s just not healthy…
