I think all my friends would agree with me when I say I’m a Charlotte. A naive dreamer and believer in fairy tales all I ever wanted was to fall madly in love with my soul mate and to have children. I was in love with love and just like Charlotte – I found it in someone unexpected. For that love I was determined to learn a new way of life and to be accepted by those who lived it. I am a little compulsive when it comes to perfection, or what I believe is perfection. My beliefs are my own and I am undeterred in those beliefs even when even my best friends contest them or try to reason with me. Those who know me best have my unending compassion and loyalty and those same people are the ones who have the power to hurt me most. Very rarely am I aggressive, almost always choosing to remain polite and reserved, but if someone tries to hurt or does hurt someone I love, I become very protective and a more aggressive side comes out.
And most recently…I got pregnant and had my baby with my husband and soul mate even when the odds were against us!

First of all I must say Sex and the City is my ALL time favorite show. I had to get the DVD collection as soon as it came out. Well on that note I will answer the question now, it’s a very hard question because I feel I’m a little like all 4 of them. I’m like Carrie because I’m stylish and am not afraid to try new things. I’m a lot like Miranda because I never let anyone walk all over me and feel I am successful and confident. Now you have to love Samantha, like her I am not afraid to work and fight for what I want. To those who will read this I cannot not decide I been watching this show since I was 13 years old this show was always my dirty lil secret… This show is the reason of who I am I take a little of all women I am like Carrie Because I am in search of that love once she quote this ” I am looking for endless love the I cannot live without an everyday passion love” Samantha she is the very reason why I am so open to the freedom of sex to learn the art of sex and to know how to make love to another person without the tie and the hurt to attach yourself to another man… and I also take from Charlotte she is quite but she has the power to be bold to be person that which if you make her mad she will be the mother tiger being there for her cubs to love those who need the guideless of love and never give up on a truth soul mate which happen to be her divorce lawyer, last but not least Miranda with the knowing knowledge to be her to stand up and be a “wealth of knowledge” she give me the thought to be open minded and hear both side of the law and to be the caring mother with a firm hand I take after little of all these women this show save me though high school while I felt ugly and sad and depress this show and these women taught me to carry myself and hold my head high when I always felt low to this show I own so much!!! I am definitely more like Samantha!! I am very comfortable with my sexuality and I make sure that My boyfriend and I are always on the same page if you know whay I mean!! During the time that Sex and The City was on I was an avid viewer and I was at times taken aback by some of Samantha’s antics but as I have reached my mid 40′s I understand that it is about understaning yourself and being comfortable in your own skin. Though it appears I am in the minority, I am most definitely a Miranda. She has great wit and great style. She is an authentic character who deals with realistic problems like anyone may. Honestly, lol, my friends call me the Samantha one because I have a holds no bars personality. I can be insecure in some senses, and people think of me as someone who is holier than thou but, much like Samantha, I can turn a situation to my advantage. Samantha had a commanding presence about her that was all strong, fierce, but still proclaiming to men “I am still a woman” at the end of the day. From when she fell in love with Richard to regaining her sense of purpose by letting her guard down with Smith, Samantha and I have some parallels that my close friends say remind them of Samantha…that and I tend to be very crude and unapologetic when we talk about sex. Hahahaha.

I would say I’m definitely not Charlotte or Samantha. It seems to me like they are the total opposite of one another, but to the extreme. Though I’m very, confident, Samantha is more into the ‘boytoys’ whereas I like commitment and stability in relationships. And though I’m family oriented, I’m probably a little more of a risk taker than Charlotte. I’m not a party animal all the time, but sometimes I am. I think I’m more like Miranda, sort of in the middle, not the most shy girl around, but not the most over the top either. And I can identify with her style as well, not too crazy (feathers, hot pink and glitter all at once) but not too “Stepford Wife” either.
I love big, bold, bright, colorful, original, different, interesting, unique, out of the ordinary styles (not as much as Lady Gaga does, lol), but I also like classic, sophisticated, timeless, elegant styles, I think there’s a time and a place for everything.
Depending on the ocaccion, one can relate to any of the 4 characters os Sex and the City. Sometimes I feel more glamorous, sometimes edgy, sometimes bright and chic, and some other times just comfy. Don’t like wearing the same style all the time, you migh see me in trousers and a tailored blazer today, in a maxi dress tomorrow, and a jumpsuit the next day. High hells though, are sacred, I don’t do flats!
I don’t mind being the life of the party, don’t have a problem with starting conversation and I’m usually very friendly and smiley. I’m generaly very thougtful about what I wear and how I wear it. I try, doesn’t always work, lol, everyones opinion is different, the same thing some people love, other people hate. To me, fashion is what looks good on ME.

I’m the most like Charlotte because my style is fashionable, classic, but not “over the top.” I’m married with three children and I always try to do what everyone else wants. I have a tendency to expect perfection from myself, although I don’t expect it from others and love my family and friends unconditionally. There are four of us girlfriends who take a “trip” every year together. We meet at my mom’s house and go out for the night while my dad watches the kids. The rest of the time, we just hang together and exchange our secrets over tea (instead of Cosmos) as we shed tears of sadness, on occasion, but mostly tears of laughter! We look forward to this every year, and when our kids are older, we’re hoping to take a trip to NYC together!

I would say I am a Charlotte, I can have a very old fashioned view when it comes to certain things and my friends mean the world to me, even if we fight I wont hold a grudge. They know that I am the one that will always be there for them no matter what.

Romantic, poetry, good advice giver, friendly, outgoing, fabulous friend, honesty, love, and of course total fashionista & style risk taker. These are the things that Carrie and myself have in common. I love to mix classic or casual pieces with something more funky and bold, enough to be noticed but not out there like some of the celebs today (ummm *cough* Lady Gaga). Even though yes of course, I do have a bit of each of the girls in me, I mostly connect with Carrie on so many different levels.

I think I have a little bit of the four girls. But I know I’m like Miranda.. strong… independent.. and won’t let nobody to mess with me. I hide my feelings!
