Hi, all! Well, my dream proposal actually came true. I have been with my husband since we were 16 years old (we are now 30). When my husband decided to propose to me, he remembered me saying, (waaaay back when, in highschool) that I would like to just wake up with the ring on my finger. I’m not the kind of girl that likes a big scene, or being the center of attention, so this was the perfect way for him to propose. There was no “on bended knee”, but it was the right way for both of us. This September, we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary, and we aren’t sick of each other yet! ; )

my dream would be going to the beach, in the evening with my handsome man, thinking it would just be for a walk, the sun is setting and the sky is orangey red, then all of the sudden we round a corner and there are candles everywhere, a table with candles shinging brightly and our own waiter. then i sit down and praise my guy for being so romantic and the next thing i know he is asking for my hand in marriage, of course he is on one knee, opens the box and a gorgeous diamond ring is inside. the candle light makes it sparkle, oh so brightly. of course i put my hand out and tell him yes. then we have a wonderful romantic dinner, just the two of us, like no one else is on this earth but us.

My dream proposal would be a romantic and unique. i saw people make unique vids to propose to there gf’s and i d just love if he took me out to diiner then proposed to me on top of the ifle tower or took me to cali and proposed to me on the hoolywood walk of fame. I am currently enggaed now but i havent got a ring since we cant afford one. I had a promise ring but it broke. I met my fiance when i was 15 and i knew that he was the one back then. so when he proposed two years ago i was soo happy but i know he wants to do a formal proposal just we cant afford one right now, so winning this would help us out alot.

Engagement rings are expensive, and I did not have a lot of money when I graduated. So I had to save the money. During that time, I wrote one song for Tiffany that would be my proposal. It soon turned into multiple songs and became the “Tiffany, Will You Marry Me?” The Musical! We went to different schools, but we both loved music and participated enthusiastically in marching bands in high school and college. Many of our friends were incredibly musically talented.
I secretly contacted her friends and my own friends and taped the musical proposal about me looking for help on how to propose, with all of our friends presenting increasingly ridiculous proposal ideas. What began as something to burn time became an insanely complex series of clandestine sneaking around to write music, record music, and videotape editing.
On our 7 year, 8 month, 9 day anniversary, I surprised my girlfriend with my song/proposal + musical. It’s difficult to explain, so please just watch:

My dream proposal would start of at the cabin in the woods of West Virginia, where my handsome boyfriend and I went for a 3 night, 4 day fishing trip during the last few days of July 2011, after my year long medical nightmare. We both needed a much deserved get-a-way, where only we existed, like in a Nicholas Sparks romance novel. There was no internet, phone, (well whatever cell phone reception we could get)… only various VHS tapes on an old cathode ray tube TV, and a cozy log cabin nestled in the thick woods. The sounds of babbling brooks and streams, and just a peaceful air, surrounded by the wonders of nature. And a nice home cooked meal of trout, rice pilaf, veggies, and some good old fashioned pecan pie – he is an excellent cook! It was truly a blessing, and I’d love to go back there with my sweetheart.
Both of us love to go freshwater fishing, its become an obsession of ours, and nothing would be more romantic, after being together for 3 years, then to be whisked away to that cabin be proposed to. It would happen in the morning after a nice egg and ham biscuit breakfast. We would be getting ready for our first fishing trip of the day, packing up the car with the bags, buckets, cooler, net, tackle boxes, and rods. I would notice on the end of the rod a sparkler of a ring, and then he’s ask me to be his wife. (This might be risky for the ring, but oh well, I think it sounds creative). Did I mention, we both met on “Plenty of Fish?” Who knew we would become anglers! – Meredith

Well when I go to the movies I love to watch the trailers especially the ones for romantic movies. I’m a sucker for anything sweet and corny and I literally love every love story in the movies. My dream proposal may seem like a little too much but it is unique. I would love it if my fiance-to-be would have the theater play a custom trailer making it sound like a real movie, which could first show scenes of him first going to the jewelry shop and purchasing a ring, then going to my father and asking him for my hand in marriage, and then the trailer ends with him walking in the door of our home. Once the trailer is finished, he gets down on one knee and proposes to me and of course I would say yes. It would truly be a dream if a man did that for me.

My dream proposal came almost 36 years ago. I met my husband in the summer of 1975. We had both come out of bad relationships. Over the next few months we communicated via phone and snail mail as I lived in Canada and he lived in the US. I came to visit him that Christmas. We spent New Year’s Eve at a friend’s home. Everyone had gone to bed and we sat together on the sofa under the Christmas tree with glasses of champagne. It was after midnight and he laid his head on my shoulder and asked me “Are you ever going to marry me?” And my response was “I thought you’d never ask!” Five months later we were married!
