  1. Lori Says:

I lost both of my wedding rings earlier this year and thanks to the economy neither myself nor my husband can afford to replace them with real gems. Winning this contest would mean that I would have gorgeous enviable rings, but for a fraction of the price–and much prettier in my opinion!

  2. Jessica Says:

I’ve been a single mother for going on two years now. It’s difficult, because as much as I try to keep my chin up and move forward, it seems like something is always in my path. I struggled through a viscious custody battle, a robbery, and jobloss. I love my son, he is the sweetest most amazing little boy you could ask for….but it’s still difficult. When I was robbed, they took our furniture, clothes, his toys, electronics, and ALL jewelry (including several family heirlooms.) I had to rebuild our life from scratch. I got my son, I replaced our essentials, and I got a new job. One thing I never got to replace was the jewelry. It may seem small to some, but in a life that’s entirely about my son, I needed something that was mine. I need to be able to transform myself into something more than a mother…into a woman, and that jewelry did it for me. It has the amazing ability of transforming the everyday into something magical. If I won this contest, it would give me an opportunity to regain that part of my life.

  3. Caitlyn Says:

As with most of the country these days, we are in some financial struggles lately. I barely make enough money to put food on the table and pay my bills every month. so buying jewelry is certainly not in the picture anytime soon! we spent the last year supporting my boyfriends brother by letting him live with us, and last April, his mother moved in as well. so as you can imagine we have not had any money to spend on pleasure items like clothing and jewelry.

my boyfriend and I are making engagement/wedding plans for the next year. however, it will be a small wedding with little costs. trying to make a wedding on a small budget means added expenses such as fine jewelry is not in the plan! i would love to be able to wear something that i am proud of, rather than old tarnished jewelry that i have now. its such an embarrassment when people see your old ratty jewlery and you know you can’t afford to go to the store and buy more, like a lot of people can.

with the added expenses, and stress of extra guests in the house, i would love a little “pick me up.” Putting on a piece of beautiful jewelry everyday really does something to your self image! as stupid as it seems, with all the stress going on with work, money pressure, house stress, (and life in general!) it would really be nice to have something that is my own…something i can look at and be proud of.

  4. Jules Says:

I guess those other women deserve jewelry more than me. I would just love to have a free gift, wouldn’t anyone? This summer, our family car was stolen from the park across the street… With the baby’s carseat, clothes CDS, all kinds of personal stuff. A little sparkly may help me to forget about it (wink wink) ;)

  5. wilitha andrews Says:

Because I found so many things on here that I have been searching for forever, like the vintage style ring my fiancee brought me.. I have been looking for a ring
exactly like that one everywhere but never found it, but guess who had it???? Emitations.com! We are getting married on November 20th 2009 at the courthouse here in Vancouver, Wa. It would be nice to win…would be like having a bridal shower because I never got to have one!

  6. Tasha Matthews Says:

I have been with my husband for 8 years and we have been married for 4 years. We just had a baby girl April 25 2008. I spend all my day and time on my daughter and my husband which I love. We have never bought wedding rings because we couldn’t afford it. When we have the money to get them something happens like car trouble or medical issues. So I would love to have the wedding rings to show the world we are married and happy.

  7. Ellen Rosner Says:

I have always been a jewelry freak-and , as typical of most people , I cannot afford, nor would I ever think of spending thousands of dollars for a piece of jewelry. I feel great just having on something nice that coordinates with the jewelry I wear. I am happy to receive a pretty piece of bling, and it makes my day. I am living in Florida with my husband, and our son, who is ill and had to come stay with us indefinately. It is not easy, as we were expecting a retirement of some sort, but life throws curves, and one must be happy with the important things-love, health, some security, and once and a while a few pieces of georgous BLING to brighten up one’s day! Love your website.

  8. Melissa Powell Says:

Due to the economy, we had to sell my rings in order to purchace my diabetes medications. I had the rings not even a year, and it was the first time I had had a diamond since we had been married, which has been 18 years. We had to put my health first, without insulin, I could possibly die. I am unable to work due to a spinal cord injury and use a wheelchair. So winning my wish list would be a dream come true since we would never buy any luxuries over medications.. Thank you!

  9. Debbie Says:

I love everything about this site and you can also see what the stars are wearing.

  10. Nelly Says:

I love everything at Emitations, and that’s why I want to win. It would mean a lot to me and I would be thrilled to receive five pieces of your beautiful jewelry of my choosing. It wouldn’t even matter what they are, I would be glad with anything, it would be a surprise. The real gems that really catch my eye are rings. Any type of ring I get I will wear. My fingers are very small at size 5, so it’s hard to find THE perfect ring without it being too big. Winning this prize would make me a happy person, as it is said, diamonds are a girl’s best friend. But then again, I wish whoever else may win, the best of luck and a happy future with their new jewelry! :) Hugs and kisses!

  11. Lesya Parkhomchuk Says:

Winning my wishlist would be the perfect 25th Birthday gift! Like everyone else, I have no budget for extravagance and winning would make my year!

  12. Jennifer Says:

After 8 years in the military, wearing camo and boots, I find myself in the business casual setting of an office career. Being able to dress and feel feminine at last, I attempt to bring style on a budget to my work attire and love Emitations pieces!!! They add a little sparkle each day that just boosts my confidence in the workplace. I have purhcased several pieces from Emitations and was extremely pleased with the product and the service. To win items on my wishlist would just sweeten the experience and you would find yourself with a loyal, life-long customer!!!!

  13. Cathy Says:

I should win this contest because I have had one of the most difficult weeks imaginable. I am confined to bed (with my laptop, of course!) after having undergone a spinal tap to help diagnose something that may be as serious as a brain tumor or toxic brain infection. Being poked and prodded is nothing new for me or my family, as I have a chronic auto-immune disease, my 4 year-old daughter has a rare form of congenital heart disease, and my husband was diagnosed with a deadly form of lymphoma and underwent a bone marrow transplant at just 35 years of age. And now just two years later, it seems that our bad luck has struck again…and here I lay in bed, hoping that jewelry will cheer me up. The funny thing is that it usually does. It always has. I eagerly look forward to every holiday - my birthday, Valentine’s , Christmas, wedding anniversaries - as an opportunity for a new piece of jewelry. I tried to hide my disappointment this last wedding anniversary when we couldn’t afford a new piece of jewelry for me. That was September. Maybe it’s still not too late for an anniversary gift this year? Or maybe winning this contest could just be a sign of good things to come? A sign of hope….

  14. Connie Johnson Says:

My husband and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary on December 15th having been together since we were 16. The engagement ring that he bought me has what he calls a diamond chip as the stone. He told me that one day he would replace it with a “rock”. As much as I would love to have an actual big diamond, I wouldn’t want him to spend that kind of money on me. This year has been a struggle for us. His dad was diagnosed with cancer and lost his battle with it 2 months later and we’ve had major car repairs and plumbing issues in our house. These events have left little money for extra spending. I would love to have some new jewelry to brighten up my outfits. The jewelry from emitations is gorgeous and who can tell that it isn’t the real thing.

  15. Cynthia Miner Says:

So many pretties, so little money! Will make great gifts for any occasion. Beautiful sparkles without the high dollar price tags. Fabulous fakes - who could resist?

  16. Rita Di Giacomo Says:

I love bling and would love to win, just because I don’t buy much for myself and it would be a great surprise.

  17. Nicole Montes Says:

First off…I have never won anything….not even a dollar off of scratchers. It would be nice to win something for a change. I am currently going to school full time right now and working two jobs to put myself through school. I don’t have any extra money to buy myself anything “extra” so it would be great to get something for once that is not a necessity.

  18. Jennifer Juarez Says:

Winning even 1 piece from your gorgeous collection would make my Birthday wishes come true!! My Family has been hit hard during these tough economic times. My Husband and I both lost our jobs within 1 year and we had to pack up and leave our loved ones and friends to move to a new state. It has been a difficult year and we hope 2010 will be better for us. Through it all we have learned alot about the strength of our marriage and our commitment to raising a happy healthy almost 2 year old.She would also like to see her momma wearing something sparkly.

  19. Elaine Says:

My engagement ring was stolen in Mexico in my hotel room. I have never found any ring to replace it (it’s a size 4, small size diamond) and I can’t get any compensation to replace it. It would be lovely to have a replacement again.
