Wow, it has been a long year. Since February I have had three strokes and now I am told that I have coronary artery disease. My husband is not working, but I am getting unemployment. The plan was to get me a new wedding set for our second anniversary, which was this month, but the money just wouldn’t allow it…until I found this site! The ring that is in my wishlist is my DREAM ring!! It is beautiful and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. My husband has never been one for cubic zirconium, but when he saw it, he loved it as much as I do. It would be wonderful to have this set on my finger to make the year and our anniversary so much better!!

I would love love LOVE to win this contest!!!

I am getting married in March of 2010 and have been searching for the perfect necklace for the past couple of months. I’m the type of person who has to do A LOT of research before any purchase to make sure I don’t like anything more or that I can’t find a better deal. I had visited probably about 20+ jewelry websites (plus a bunch of stores) before I stumbled across emitations.com. I have not found another website with better prices and such a great selection. Everything is so fashionable. I like that you can see what a lot of the pieces look like on celebrities.
And you have the necklace that is perfect for my wedding. Even Heidi Klum likes it!

So here are some reasons that I should win…

1. I FINALLY found a necklace! Yay!

2. I mentor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and found the perfect little Christmas gift to make my little sis feel super special. She loves pink!!

3. I also found some great boxes to put little gifts in for my bridesmaids when I finally decide what jewelry to get them.

4. I became a follower of emitations on Twitter and have told all of my facebook friends to follow too. I’m trying to get at least 50 friends to become followers!!

I would really like to win some pieces from my “Wish List” to help get a head start on my Christmas shopping. I wish I could say that each piece on the list would be just for me, but I’m afraid that the only way I’m going to be able do my Christmas shopping this year is via my laptop in bed. For those following the comments, you may remember that when I entered the contest last week I was confined to my bed after having just undergone a spinal tap to test for a brain tumor or brain infection. Well, I got the results this week, and the diagnosis was viral encephalitis (an inflammation of the brain caused by a virus.) Since this condition has made me quite ill and can even be fatal, I am on bed rest for at least another month. So, it is unlikely that I will get to go out to shop for Christmas gifts for anyone. There are several Emitation pieces that I know my Mom would love to have one of, and my four-year old is already as much of a jewelry junkie as her mom is. I would also like to give two of my girlfriends who have been here to help me through all of this something that sparkles. And I would really love it if there was just one piece left over to go in my stocking too! Even if I just wore it in bed, I know a little sparkle would still make me feel better.

My engagement ring was stolen in Mexico in my hotel room. I have never found any ring to replace it (it’s a size 4, small size diamond) and I can’t get any compensation to replace it. It would be lovely to have a replacement again.

Winning even 1 piece from your gorgeous collection would make my Birthday wishes come true!! My Family has been hit hard during these tough economic times.My Husband and I both lost our jobs within 1 year and we had to pack up and leave our loved ones and friends to move to a new state.It has been a difficult year and we hope 2010 will be better for us. Through it all we have learned alot about the strength of our marriage and our commitment to raising a happy healthy almost 2 year old.She would also like to see her momma wearing something sparkly.

First off…I have never won anything….not even a dollar off of scratchers. It would be nice to win something for a change. I am currently going to school full time right now and working two jobs to put myself through school. I don’t have any extra money to buy myself anything “extra” so it would be great to get something for once that is not a necessity.

My husband and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary on December 15th having been together since we were 16. The engagement ring that he bought me has what he calls a diamond chip as the stone. He told me that one day he would replace it with a “rock”. As much as I would love to have an actual big diamond, I wouldn’t want him to spend that kind of money on me. This year has been a struggle for us. His dad was diagnosed with cancer and lost his battle with it 2 months later and we’ve had major car repairs and plumbing issues in our house. These events have left little money for extra spending. I would love to have some new jewelry to brighten up my outfits. The jewelry from emitations is gorgeous and who can tell that it isn’t the real thing.
