Queen Latifah Planning to Wed
Tuesday, June 10th, 2008Though she never officially announced that she is a lesbian, Queen Latifah and her long-time girlfriend are planning to get married! The Queen has deflected questions about her sexuality in the past, asserting that it is her personal business and thus not up for discussion. Now, though, she is said to be marrying Jeanette Jenkins in a private ceremony sometime this summer. Latifah and Jeanette have joined with other famous celebrity couples who plan to celebrate gay marriages, including Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. Emitations wishes the happy couple all the best, and (as usual) we’re keeping an eye out for an engagement ring!
